This picture was taken during a 4-hour test of the Millennium
Model 2000 stripping tray. The worker wore duplicate exposure
monitors; subsequent analysis of the monitors by an approved laboratory
revealed that the worker was exposed to an average of 18PPM (Parts Per
Million) of the methylene chloride vapors, well within the 25PPM maximum
directive by OSHA. The stripping solvent used contained 76% by weight
of methylene chloride.
Seneca Research guarantees that worker exposure to methylene chloride
vapors when using the Millennium Model 2000™ Stripping Trays will meet and exceed OSHA standards
provided that other sources of methylene chloride vapors such as a water
rinsing booth and drying furniture are properly controlled.
